The facts are alarming: Swiss people spend an average of around nine hours a day sitting down. This lack of activity can have a negative impact on blood circulation and lead to a variety of complaints, including haemorrhoids.

Physical activity such as walking, yoga or swimming improves blood circulation and stimulates the bowels, which in turn can prevent haemorrhoidal problems. However, excessive cycling or horse riding are not recommended if you suffer from haemorrhoids. Raising awareness of a common condition with a video trilogy

Three videos, one taboo topic – and one clear goal: to raise awareness where silence has prevailed until now. Neither women nor men like to talk about it, yet the symptoms are widespread: around 70% of Swiss people are affected by haemorrhoidal problems at some point in their lives. To raise awareness of this often taboo subject, Doetsch Grether AG has launched an educational campaign. In collaboration with the health podcast Villa Margarita, three informative videos have been produced – using humour, charm and educational facts to destigmatise haemorrhoids and their risk factors.
